Corrosion Protection Solutions

Based on ISO 12944 international standards, we provide systematic anti-corrosion coating solutions for different corrosion environments. From C1 indoor dry environment to CX extreme corrosion environment, we have mature matching systems.

1. Identify exposure

Confirm indoor/outdoor service, humidity, UV, immersion risk, chemicals, temperature, abrasion, and cleaning process.

2. Define substrate

Steel, galvanized steel, concrete, aluminum, wall surface, or existing coating all require different preparation and primer choices.

3. Match coating layers

A complete system normally includes surface preparation, primer, optional intermediate coat, and a compatible topcoat.

4. Confirm documents

Before quotation, confirm current TDS/SDS, packaging, shelf life, color, export requirements, and application conditions.

Common coating questions by substrate, environment, and project use case

Steel Structure & Workshop Frames

For structural steel, start with blast-cleaning requirements and corrosion class. Common systems use epoxy zinc-rich or epoxy anti-rust primer, epoxy intermediate coat, and polyurethane or fluorocarbon topcoat for exterior color retention.

Oil Tank, Chemical Storage & Pipeline Areas

Tank and chemical areas need careful review of medium, vapor exposure, cleaning process, splash risk, and temperature. Epoxy, glass flake epoxy, chlorinated rubber, or specialty coatings may be selected after confirming service conditions.

Bridge, Port & Outdoor Infrastructure

Outdoor infrastructure often combines anti-corrosion primer, high-build intermediate coating, and weather-resistant topcoat. Maintenance windows, salt exposure, and expected durability should be clarified before selecting the system.

Industrial Floor & Warehouse Concrete

Floor systems depend on concrete strength, moisture, traffic load, chemical exposure, slip resistance, and shutdown time. Epoxy primer, epoxy mortar or self-leveling layers, and topcoat should be selected as a system.

Machinery, Equipment & OEM Finishing

Machinery coatings balance appearance, drying speed, adhesion, impact resistance, and production rhythm. Acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane, epoxy, and baking finishes may be suitable depending on substrate and line conditions.

Wet service needs closer review of immersion, humidity, chemical cleaning, and substrate. Chlorinated rubber, epoxy, and specialty coatings should be checked against the current TDS/SDS and service environment.

For hot surfaces, confirm continuous and peak temperature, thermal cycling, substrate preparation, and whether the coating is decorative, anti-corrosion, or heat-indicating. Silicone products are common candidates.

Exterior Wall & Architectural Surfaces

Wall systems need substrate evaluation, putty or leveling layer, primer compatibility, alkalinity, moisture, color requirements, and local environmental rules. Waterborne and architectural products are frequent options.

Atmospheric steel protection

Surface preparation -> anti-rust or zinc-rich primer -> epoxy intermediate coat when required -> polyurethane or fluorocarbon topcoat.

General metal protection

Cleaning or sanding -> alkyd or epoxy primer -> compatible enamel or industrial topcoat.

Low-VOC project request

Confirm VOC limit and substrate -> waterborne primer -> compatible waterborne topcoat -> verify drying and recoat conditions.

Maintenance repainting

Inspect existing coating -> remove loose film and corrosion -> spot primer -> compatible repair coat or full system rebuild.
